AWARD

The LLAVE Scholarship. The award must be used for educational expenses incurred during the stated academic year, Fall 2010.

Eligibility

A selection committee comprised of representatives from local organizations in the community makes scholarship award decisions. Applicants are awarded on the following criteria:

1) Commitment to diversity and higher education

2) Involvement in local community groups and organizations

3) Personal qualities and strengths

4) Demonstrations of overcoming unique obstacles in obtaining an education

5) Academic achievement ( if applicable to category)

6) Financial Need

7) Notice of Award
